- Why not celebrate during these cloudy nights before the big day tomorrow?
You have one last night and a bunch of activities if you have any extra time! What are the kids going as for Halloween tomorrow?
Make Pumpkin Slime
All you need is some school glue, water, borax, orange food coloring, black and orange glitter and spiders or eyeballs if you want to make it more Halloween-y. Make sure to look up the directions on how to make this so you’ll be prepared and play with the kids. Who doesn’t love slime?
Paint Pumpkins
For this you just need some pumpkins and whatever kind of paint you want to use. By painting your pumpkins, instead of cutting them open, they will last a lot longer. Not only that, because of the paint, animals like squirrels and raccoons will leave your pumpkin alone, also making it last longer. Colors like black, green, blue and red are perfect for pumpkins and you can create whatever you like from there. Do you think these are fun Halloween things?
Party In The Dark
From decor to stickers to glow sticks or even balloons, get all the glow-in-the-dark items that you can find. From there, make sure they are all “powered up” by putting them in the sun. Once it’s dark out, turn all the lights out and bring out all the items you found that you can still see!
Make Spiderwebs
Find a space or a room and a bunch of string to create a spiderweb. It could be really fun to do this in the door frame of a room or the bathroom to almost prank someone with it. You could also do this in a laundry basket or up and down a staircase. For extra fun, create or buy some spiders or even ghosts to add it to your spiderweb. this could be the best Halloween things to have fun with!
Create Haunted Houses
You could make houses out of graham crackers or black craft paper. Create windows and use google eyeballs to decorate. Ketchup makes for good blood and you could add little pumpkin, bat, black cat, or spider stickers to increase the Halloween aspect of the whole project. If you want to add more design to your haunted house, grab some paint! Especially against the black of the craft paper, white paint for ghosts or ghouls would be a fun and poopy addition.
Movie Marathon
This is a classic Halloween activity! Who doesn’t love to grab all the snacks, drinks, soft and cuddly blankets and make a night out of spooky season? To get more seasonal with it, you could make mummy meatballs, ghost pizza or even scary popcorn balls. Now, for what to watch! Fun kids movies like Casper or The Nightmare Before Christmas are good. There are also more grown up but not super scary movies like Ghostbusters or Gremlins. Of course, if it’s *all adults* you should get super scary with The Shining or Poltergeist. What is better for Halloween things on Halloween night?
Halloween Trivia Night
This could be super fun! Just jump online and find a bunch of Halloween facts, trivia, tidbits or whatever you think would be fun. There could be candy pieces for prizes or the person who gets the question right could be the next person to ask a question. You could also do it based off of a Halloween movie or show to see how much the littles, and everyone else, has been paying attention.
Do you think you’ll have time for any of these Halloween things? Tell me about it in the comments!
