National Pickle Day is Today November 14th

National Pickle Day is celebrated every November 14th. If you love pickles, then these are all the pickle eats you will have to try to celebrate this delicious snack.

Dill Pickle Chips

Dill pickle chips are one of those salty, flavorful treats that it’s hard to get enough of! Dip them in dill dip for a repetitive yet elevated dill flavor or something spicy like a zesty ranch. Or better yet, make your favorite sandwich and throw some dill pickle chips on top for a crunchy and satisfying sandwich.


Dill Pickle Pizza

Dill pickle pizza can be made in a variety of different ways but try this for national pickle day!
Start with your favorite crust, whether premade or homemade. From there, add garlic sauce base to your pizza and top that with lots of mozzarella and a bit of parmesan. Add red onion and a whole bunch of dill pickles. Bake until the cheese gets golden brown or to your preference. For fun, dip it into ranch or even dill dip and enjoy!

Dill Pickle Popcorn

Dill pickle popcorn is very similar to dill pickle chips but healthier, so you know, you can eat more. If you like popcorn, buy the popcorn seasoning that’s dill pickle and along with some sweet cream butter, you have a very delicious snack.

Tuna Pickle Pasta

This combination is delicious and the perfect summer side but it doesn’t have to be summer for you to enjoy it. Cook your favorite shaped pasta to al dente and set aside. For this tuna pickle pasta, you need a couple cans of tuna in water, a cup of bread and butter pickles, chopped, paprika, salad dressing type “mayo” and that’s about it. Mix all this together and it should be a little thick. Add some juice from you bread and butter pickles to thin it out a little and refrigerate it so all the flavors have time to marinate. Pickle and Ham Dip

A coworker made this for the office and it did not last long. Choose a thin deli ham (honestly the cheaper the better, Buddig ham works perfect in this dish. From there add room temperature cream cheese, a whole stick and diced dill pickles, as many as you want! Mix all this together and eat with crackers or chips. This dip is so easy and so quick to make and it’s delicious!

Beef, Cream Cheese, and Pickle Roll Ups

This has been called Midwestern sushi but even if you don’t want to call it that, it’s an appetizer loved by many, that you will probably love too. So for this, use Buddig beef. Open up a slice of beef and lay it flat. Choose an edge and add your desired amount of cream cheese along one edge. From there, add a thinly sliced pickle and roll it all up. There you have it, a beef, cream cheese and pickle roll up, perfect for any day but make sure you try it today if you haven’t yet!
