What would you do if the person you’re in a relationship breaks up with you right before your big plans to go to Paris and Europe? Continue going! But Kristiana Kuqi’s journey took a bit of a… weird turn.
Kristiana Kuqi recently became viral, with one picture posted of her kissing a guy in front of the Eiffel Tower, but why? Well, let’s go to the beginning…
Miss Kuqi had made plans with her boyfriend to meet in Paris and travel through Europe, but they sadly split before then. She was determined not to let him ruin her traveling through, so away she went to Paris…
You Go Girl!
Ms. Kuqi is originally from Kosovo and graduated out of Randolph College Virginia. She decided in Paris that she was going to get the romantic picture she always dreamed of… “I’ve always wanted a picture kissing at the Eiffel Tower. I’m looking around and I think to myself ‘you need the romantic picture you’ve always wanted and now’s the chance.’ I tell my friend my idea of asking this guy for a kiss and we are both kinds of freaking out about it. So I just approach him and asked ‘Hey do you speak English’. He replies ‘yes’, then I ask ‘do you have a girlfriend?’, and he says no.
So I look at him, trying my best to keep my cool and ask, ‘Will you kiss me right there in front of the Eiffel Tower for a picture?’ and in the coolest manner he says ‘Yes, of course’. So that’s how it started,” Kuqi told inew.co.uk.
How What Started?
The start of her fame of course! Ms. Kuqi went farther after that when she posted two more pictures of her allegedly kissing strangers. One was in front of the Colosseum in Rome and the other at a wedding in Kentucky. On Twitter the picture in Paris got 435.2k hearts, the picture in Rome got 47.6k and the one in Kentucky got 44.2k. In the posts she said she hopes their doing well. She admits she doesn’t even know their names.
What Does Miss Kuqi Think?
Ms. Kuqi called the moments “pure human connection.” She said that she hasn’t spoken to any of the men since this kiss. “It’s not really about the picture to me, to be honest, it’s about confidence and spontaneity. I would always walk away with the biggest smile on my face and think to myself, ‘I am THAT girl’. It kind of became an adrenaline rush for me. Some people have been making comments like ‘OMG did you forget about herpes’ but at the end of the day we’re all kissing strangers, at parties, clubs and on a first date.”
