This is the best of the most indulgent chocolate cakes on the list. It’s not too sweet and not too rich, and perfect to make for any occasion. With a lush texture and a distinct chocolate cherry flavor, it’s rich yet light and topped with whipped cream, cherries and chocolate pieces. Have you ever made or eaten this absolutely delicious and most decadent chocolate cake?
German Chocolate Cake
The next best chocolate cake has to be German Chocolate Cake. The frosting is made with tons of coconut and layered between chocolate cake. There are nuts in the frosting as well and one bite is the perfect rich and sweet chocolate cake with a touch of nuttiness you could ever try. How do you feel about German Chocolate Cake?
Death by Chocolate Cake
This cake is made with sour cream, espresso, vanilla dak chocolate chips and a whole cup of cocoa powder, talk about chocolatey. And some recipes even call for an additional two cups of mini dark chocolate chips added on top! There are layers upon layers of chocolate cake, chocolate ganache and chocolate mousse.
Flourless Chocolate Cake
This has got to be the most chocolatey of all the chocolate cakes. Flourless chocolate cake is made of chocolate, egg, sugar, butter, salt, vanilla and cocoa powder and almost tastes like chocolate fudge but with a cakey texture. Have you ever had this most decadent chocolate cake?

Not only is a chocolate truffle cake rich and smooth but it’s full of chocolate ganache and is a soft and spongy chocolate cake. An authentic chocolate truffle cake will will melt in your mouth, leaving you with the delicious taste of pure chocolate.

If you love chocolate cake and you’ve never had chocolate lava cake, you seriously have no idea what you’re missing. This warm cake is full of flavor and a delicious texture and filled with a melty chocolate center. All you need is a dusting of powdered sugar and it’s done.
