Jack The Ripper

Jack the Ripper was famous for his 1888 murder spree in the poor London neighborhood called Whitechapel. He would usually victimize female prostitutes by slitting their neck and then brutalizing and mutilating them. He removed specific organs from his victims leading people to believe that Jack the Ripper had some kind of anatomical experience of sorts, maybe a butcher or a doctor. Jack the Ripper has never been identified and with all the time that has passed, it’s likely he never will be.

The Zodiac Killer

The Zodiac Killer was linked to five killings and two attempted murders between the 1960s and the 1970s. He claimed to have killed at least 37 and sent coded letter to newspapers detailing how he killed his victims. There have been a lot of movies made about this killer like “Zodiac” and “Dirty Harry.” According to a group of independent detectives, they found out the identity of the Zodiac killer in 2021. The San Francisco Police Department says the investigation is still ongoing. Did you know about these weird, unsolved disappearances.

Even though she’s always denied having anything to do with his disappearance, Terri has always been the the number one suspect and many think she knows what happened to him or where he is. The investigation remains open at this time.

Walter Collins

Back in 1928 a single mom named Christine Collins reported her nine-year-old son missing from their Los Angeles home. Several months later, the police returned “Walter” to Christine bit after claiming it wasn’t her son, the LAPD accused her of being a bad mom and placed her in a mental facility. The real Walter Collins was never found and no one ever knew the truth. It’s also strange being that the police tried to cover up the abduction by bringing a different boy home to her and trying to convince her and the rest of the world that he was in fact her missing son. What a wild story about weird, unsolved disappearances.

Tara Calico

Tara grabbed her mom’s pink bike for a ride on September 20th, 1988 in Belen, New Mexico, and then never returned. A year later, a picture of a young woman Tara’s age and a boy was found outside a Junior Food Store in Florida and they were both gagged. The boy, Michael Henley, 9, also disappeared from the same area as Calico in April of 1988. The two looked as if they were in the rear of a vehicle and there was a copy of a V.C. Andrews book next to her, her favorite author. Michael Henley’s body was later discovered in the Zuni mountains in 1990 and as her parents aged and then died, they never found out the truth about what happened with their daughter.

Brian Shaffer

Him and William Florence were finishing their night at the Ugly Tuna Saloona when Brian was separated from his friends.
