Pennsylvanian Man Makes Bombs To Warn Of Alien Attack

  • I don't think even Mulder wants to believe in this one.

Aliens. Bombs. Laser beams. What kind of weird movie is this guy think he’s starring in? David Oxenrider allegedly built a bomb, it’s purpose? To warn police about aliens…

Alien, Bombs, Lazer Beams, Oh My!

State Troopders arrested David Oxenrider. Mr. Oxenrider lives in Myerstown, Pennsylvania. He had allegedly told the hotel manager of Bahney House that he had made an explosive device. He was, allegedly, keeping it in his room there. The manager told him to remove it. Mr. Oxenrider then (allegedly!) placed it just outside the hotel, in a dumpster.

A police squad came and disabled the bomb. When talking to the investigators, Mr. Oxenrider said that in 2014 aliens contacted him. He said that the aliens told him that “Humans need to start being good people, or else they were going to destroy the Earth with a nuclear laser beam.” Mr. Oxenrider said that he’d been trying to spread the word in a less lethal way, but no one would believe him.

Two People Attest To Calling Him Crazy

“I got to know him a little bit and there were those glimpses that he was a really good guy but then his other talk was just out there. Some of it was really hard to listen to. All his talk about bombs, making bombs and something is going to happen. I kind of wish I would have taken what he said more seriously, it’s sad,” Jessica Banks told the police. Jennifer Templin said to the police, “He talked about it and talked about it but I thought if you’re going to do something this big why are you going to brag about it.”

Police Released His Charges

Mr. Oxenrider has been charged with manufacturing a weapon of mass destruction, causing or risking a catastrophe, and recklessly endangering another person. Lebanon County Booking Center (25 miles north of the city he was arrested) holds Mr. Oxenrider. There he is awaiting arraignment on the charges.
