Anyone who loves to cook has those items in their kitchen that they love to cook with. And even newbie cooks need items to use in the kitchen, and a cutting board is something any cook needs.
When an Arkansas woman bought a cutting board, it did nothing if not arouse the interest of the internet, all thanks to a phallic pattern in the middle of the marble. The cutting board was bought for a return to college.
Georgia Rodgers, 21, had her mom help her with the purchase before she returned to Ouachita Baptist University. “My mom knows all about kitchen stuff and knows what I like,” Rodgers said. “I told her I wanted a marble cutting board that was white and black, and she ordered it on Amazon.”
Rodgers is spending her summer in New York, but the package was sent to her home in Little Rock. “My mom opened the packages and called me, saying the board didn’t ‘look right,’ and then she asked if I wanted to see,” Rodgers said.
Rodgers had no idea what she would see when her mom sent her the picture of her white and black cutting board. “My friend and I couldn’t believe a marble cutting board looked like a penis,” Rodgers said.
Her friend tweeted a picture, making her cocky cutting board go viral. “I’m actually getting offers from people who want to buy it,” Rodgers said though she added that she has no plans to sell it.
She doesn’t want to let it go, but she does want to know how it came to be. “I don’t know how accidental it was, but I’d like to know if it was done on purpose,” she said.
