We won’t be celebrating Easter this year, at least not the way that we are used to. But, some people are still celebrating it, albeit in weird ways.
The sheriff’s office got several calls about explicit Easter eggs people were receiving. Easter eggs had crackers, toilet paper, and pornographic photos stuffed into them.
The eggs were secretly placed into lots of mailboxes throughout Flagler County, according to a new release that came out Monday morning.
Deputes are trying to find out who this “dirty” Easter Bunny is..both figuratively but also physically. “The person who did this is not only a very sick individual but could actually be spreading COVID-19 by their actions,” Rick Staly, sheriff, said in Monday’s news release.
“We are working to identify the offender and put them in the Green Roof Inn. If anyone else receives something like this or has information on who did this, we ask that you call us immediately.”
When people called the police about the Easter eggs they had gotten, they said that they were left in their mailboxes. And that there mailboxes were left in the up position.
They saw the eggs when they looked inside of their mailboxes. Residents were finding a fish-shaped cracker or one sheet of toilet paper. The news release also said there was a powder drink mix or a crumpled piece of paper with a pornographic image found inside the eggs.
