- You should try it tomorrow morning!
National ice cream for breakfast day is the first Saturday in February. Are you going to celebrate this holiday tomorrow?
Ice Cream and Waffles
Waffles are a warm and sweet start to your day and
what better than waffles with ice cream for breakfast? Pair classic vanilla on top of your warm waffle and drizzle it with chocolate syrup. You could also add a fruit sauce on top of your ice cream or even a decadent scoop of the pie filling of your choice.
‘Nice’ Cream
Do you remember hearing about this craze, or trying it? Nice cream is essentially frozen fruit, blended together into a “cream.” Think bananas and strawberries or raspberries and peaches. Nice cream is more of a sorbet, absolutely delicious and healthier than an ice cream. Would you try nice cream as ice cream for breakfast?
Substitute For Cream
You know, a non-cream, cream? There are a lot of alternatives to ice cream, even beyond nice cream. You could try coconut milk, almond milk, cashew milk, or even soy milk ice cream to switch it up or see which one is your favorite!
Coffee Ice Cream
Is there really a better option for ice cream for breakfast than coffee ice cream? Froth it up and add cold brew or more milk, depending on how you take your coffee. A coffee ice cream cone could be the perfect, quick and sweet way to get in your caffeine and start your day with a little caffeine and sugar, not so unlike your typical cup of coffee!
Cereal Crunch Topping
Whether you choose vanilla, chocolate or even strawberry ice cream, top it with cereal for a crunchy and timely topping. Can you imagine strawberry ice cream topped with Fruit Pebbles or even Captain Crunch? Do you think you’d like to try a cereal crunch topping for ice cream for breakfast day?
Ice Cream As Cereal’s Milk
So, there are really only two ways of eating ice cream. Wouldn’t you agree? You can either eat it in chunks and by the spoonful or you can let it melt a little and stir it up. Did you ever do that as a kid? With this melted and ultra-creamy ice cream, you can pour in your cereal and swirl it as well. It’ll almost be like a very sweet, very cold swirled milkshake of sorts! How good would this ice cream for breakfast idea taste?
Fruit and Jam-Covered
Add some fruit to top off your ice cream and drizzle on some preserves as well. (If you warm them up, they will drizzle and melt the ice cream a bit.) If you haven’t tried this for ice cream you really should, it’s a great treat!
