- What do you *really* think of the holidays and do you celebrate them anyhow? Because you can say no, you know.
What do you think are the worst holidays? Everyone should be in agreement with them being the ones that we don’t have off work!
- Christmas and thanksgiving as you get older
- New Year’s Eve. Really, having a party because you get a new calendar to hang on the wall? That’s about as lame as it can get.
- New year. Always shit.
- Any holiday we don’t have off for
- Who thinks if you don’t get time off, it’s not a holiday?
- Easter
- A Jet2 holiday. These are the worst holidays.
- Mother’s day. I’d like to pick my kids appreciate me the other 364 or 365 days. Valentine’s day
- Either Halloween or Christmas
- Christmas!

- ALL of them
- Halloween
- I love Valentine’s Day for kids but if I had to choose as an adult, it would be Valentine’s Day. It’s just so.. un-original.
- Fucking Christmas…
- Remembrance Day in Canada ONLY because it’s not a stat holiday. We desperately need a long weekend in November to bridge the gap from Thanksgiving to Christmas. So while Remembrance Day isn’t itself overrated, the lack of a November holiday ruins it for me.
- Valentine’s Day. It’s pretty cliche to hate at this point, but it is a completely shallow holiday. I’m all for showing love to the people you love and think you should do that, but the culture of valentines today is centered around spending more than anything.
- Presidents’ Day, Juneteenth, Columbus/indigenous day, Veterans Day. Nobody outside of government or banking gets it off
- In the US, 4th of July. Which feels weird because it used to be my favorite. Do you agree this is the worst holidays worthy?
- Thanksgiving. It’s a huge amount of work and money for something that’s basically over in 30 minutes.
- Evacuation Day is a holiday in Boston (Suffolk County) that celebrates the evacuation of British troop from Boston during the revolutionary war. Coincidentally it falls on St. Patrick’s Day.

- Valentines Day
- Juneteenth, before that Cinco de mayo
- Christmas. Jesus wasn’t even born in winter in December 25th now isn’t even December 25th when they took the day from the pagan holiday or the Roman Holiday actually all Christian holidays are based in Roman paganism days. Christmas Easter New Year’s Halloween yes Halloween is actually a Christian holiday it’s the E before All Hallows Eve. Heck before 1890 the only people who celebrated Christmas were the Catholics n the Orthodox churches.
- Christmas. You people seem to hate it too while in the middle of it.
- Labor Day. What’s the point? Plus I lose a days pay with the site being closed.
- Independence Day (U.S.)
- Spring is spring, and Easter is Easter. Just because they happen around the same time don’t conflate them. If you’re an atheist fine, but don’t say one is the other.
- Christmas. Despise it. Yay for not being able to go anywhere without hearing the eleventeenth verbatim rendition of the same 3 Christmas songs for 4 months. ?
So what do you think are the worst holidays? Tell us in the comments so we can all talk about it!
