- Here’s one story that sure has it all.
Whenever they arrive at a crime scene, cops should usually prepare for some unexpected circumstances. After all, panicked people calling 911 rarely manage to give a detailed account of what’s happening.
But even then, we doubt anything could’ve prepared the cops attending an incident at a Pennsylvania motel for the absolute clusterf*** that awaited them.
Brittany Abosede, 34, told the police that a man had shot at her 2019 Nissan Rogue while she had stopped at the motel’s parking lot. However, her story was full of such gaping holes that the cops rolled their eyes and told Abosede to tell them what actually happened.
She then confessed to providing sexual services to a 66-year-old man in the motel in exchange for money. Those services included, uhm…
Well, he wanted her to pee on him.
After she left, however, the man became enraged after noticing that his wallet had gone missing. So, he stormed out of the motel and popped off a shot at Abosede’s car.
He openly admitted to doing so and agreed to collaborate with the investigation. But en route to the police station, he got into a traffic accident and landed himself in a hospital.
Stay classy, folks.
‘Ma’am, Come On Now’
According to the Northern York County Regional Police Department (NYCRPD), their officers responded to an emergency report early in the morning of November 19. Apparently, there had been a shooting in the parking lot of the Days Inn Motel on the outskirts of York.
At the scene, the cops found Abosede. She informed them that she had been on her way driving from Washington, D.C., to an airport in New York City, when she pulled into the motel’s parking lot to take a break.
As she rested, an unknown male suddenly approached her car, her story went. He pulled out a handgun and fired a shot into the passenger side of her car, at which point Abosede drove off.
Now, we don’t have a word-for-word transcript of what she said, but the cops identified numerous inconsistencies in her account. Granted, she was pretty far out of the way if she was headed for NYC.
When it became clear the woman was lying, they reminded her that it was a crime to mislead the police. So, she came clean… Ish.
A Rain of Gold
After agreeing to tell the truth, Abosede said that she had booked into room 130 at the motel earlier in the night with a 66-year-old unknown man, reportedly from Harrisburg. Once there, she had agreed to a “paid sexual encounter” with him.
As part of their deal, Abosede agreed to give the guy a golden shower. We’re not sure why she decided to share that, but it was apparently an important enough detail.
Once the dirty deed was done, Abosede returned to her car and prepared to leave. At that point, however, the man showed up in the parking lot—with a gun in his hand.
Realizing she was in danger, Abosede hit the gas and sped off. But the man did manage to put one bullet in her car.
The cops later recovered one spent 9mm handgun casing from the parking lot, seemingly confirming the woman’s story. Maybe the shower he got just wasn’t warm enough.
The Mess Deepens
The cops actually managed to contact the guy who “hired” Abosede. Perhaps surprisingly, he confirmed the story.
Yes, he had paid her to pee on him. Yes, he had fired a shot at her car.
In his defense, he argued, Abosede had stolen his wallet. After he fired the shot and she escaped, the man said he found his wallet discarded in the parking lot and drove home.
He did seem prepared to own up to his actions since he agreed to return to the motel and talk to the cops. The man didn’t make the appointment, though.
On the way, he somehow managed to crash his car. The accident was bad enough that the man ended up in a local hospital.
Responding to the crash, though, the police did find the handgun the guy had used to shoot at Abosede. So at least there’s that.
For the time being, Abosede has been arrested. She’s facing charges of prostitution and making false reports to law enforcement officers.
Oh, and the cops found drug paraphernalia in her car, so she got a charge for that as well.
The cops said that the man hadn’t been charged with anything for the time being — what with him being in the hospital and all. We’ll have to see what happens once he gets out.
