- Pooping is ok, but don't do it unless you're in the woods.
With all the poop piles, police wanted to catch the crap, literally. And oh, did they.
It was 5:50 a.m. Monday when the Kenilworth School District Superintendent Thomas Tramaglini was found defecating near the Holmdel High School football field and track in New Jersey. There is evidence to show he had done this at least 8 times before being caught.
Workers from the school and coaches say human feces was found almost daily at or near the athletic facilities. When authorities starting searching the area, this is what they found.
Tramaglini, 42, who lives about three miles from the school has been doing the pooping. This school is not a part of the district that he oversees.
When caught on tape, police watched Tramaglini run around the track before he was seen, pants down, in the act. He is charged with defecating in public, lewdness, and littering.
“Given the nature of those charges, he asked for and was granted a paid leave of absence. (Leaves can only be without pay in the face of indictments or tenure charges, as a matter of state law,)” the district said. Tramaglini is currently on administrative leave and will appear in court next week.
He has not responded to press inquiries, emails, or phone calls. No one knows why he did it or what he thought would happen. But we do know one thing, this is weird news.
Want to know what’s weirder? When the story came out on social media, many jumped to his defense. “When ya gotta go ya gotta go,” one comment said. Another brought to light golfers who urinate in the woods on golf courses and don’t face lawful penalties. Gross.
