You don’t have to know these fun facts about photography to take your own pictures and enjoy them. But still, who doesn’t like fun facts?
- The first ever camera was described as a pin hole camera and it dates back to the 4th or 5th century.
- Photography was black and white until the 1930s when color photography was first introduced.

- The first digital camera released by Apple was in 1994. It was the Apple Quicktape and it was designed by Kodak.
- The first digital camera only had 0.01 megapixel. It weighed 8 pounds or 3.6 kilograms and took 23 seconds to record a picture on a cassette tape.
- A French photographer by the name of Gaspar Felix Tournachon took the first aerial photograph in 1858. He was also a balloonist, go figure.

- Photographers are serious about their craft. Ansel Adams would hike for a whole day in Yosemite National Park just to get one photo.
