These ideas for ice cream sandwiches may not be what they seem but they sure sounds delicious! Do you like this sweet, frozen and classic treat?
Kabobs
Yes, ice cream sandwiches, made into kabobs! This is the best idea ever and no cooking, so let’s get into it. Chop your sandwiches into medium sized squares and grab some skewers. From there you can add pretty much whatever you like but things like berries would be a great addition. You can also drizzle the whole thing with a chocolate or caramel sauce and then eat up!
Cake
Making a cake with these? How good does that sound? In a glass baking dish, layer the frozen sandwiches then add a half a container of cool whip and repeat with another layer. Swish the cool whip on top so that it creates a pretty design and then you can add delicious toppings like chocolate shavings, oreo pieces, chocolate chips, chocolate drizzle, sliced strawberries or even raspberries. This sounds like the funnest way to eat ice cream sandwiches.
With Dip
And not the chip and dip kind, either. Place your sandwiches toward the back of your freezer to ensure they’re extra cold and don’t pull them out until you serve them. The best dips could be warm chocolate fudge, cool whip mixed with whatever kind of pudding you love and milk until it’s the consistency you want it to be. You could also dip it into a raspberry sauce or warmed up raspberry jam. Which dip would you choose to dip your ice cream sandwiches into?
Grasshopper Pie
There are so many different ways you can make grasshopper anything, be it alcoholic or not, but the main idea is mint and chocolate. For this recipe, layer the bottom of your glass dish with a layer of the sandwiches. With a container of cool whip, add cut up mint candies or even mint oreos and mix. Add a layer of cool whip, the rest of your sandwiches, and the remaining cool whip. Sway the knife or spatula on the top to create a pretty layer and crumble or add small pieces of whatever “mint” you added to the cake. Place the cake back in the freezer until it’s chilled and serve. What a delicious way to eat ice cream sandwiches!
Ice Cream Sandwiches Parfait
Use some pretty glasses to make individual parfaits or a large glass bowl and create a party favorite. Either way, layer your sandwiches, cut appropriately for your dish and mix something you love into cool whip. This could be sprinkles or chocolate chips and works with whatever you like. Mini Pops Fondue
This is another great way to eat this dessert and you can make it a fondue dessert night. Either way, be sure your ice cream sandwiches are super cold before you pull them out and cut them into smaller pieces. Add them to shortened skewers before plunging them into your sweet fondue. A strawberry or fruity sauce would be fantastic but if you’re a chocolate lover, then that works deliciously as well!
