Tennis Star Realizes The Magic Of Breast Milk For Her Face

  • It may be strange, but have you ever used breast milk on your face?

Serena Williams has discovered how magical breast milk is and she’s using it on her face. This is the story. Williams became a mom again back in August and after welcoming her second daughter, Adira River, she decided to use her lactation supply to the fullest and even tried it out on herself.

In a new social media video, Williams, 42, explained that she was dealing with a skin concern in her under eye area that “hurt” after trying a retinol product and sun exposure.

“So I completely got burned under my eye,” she opened the clip, which was shared via TikTok over the weekend. The recently retired pro athlete added that she has “sensitive skin,” which she feels prompted the reaction.

“Long story. Anyway, I’m trying some breast milk. It works for my kid—like they say, put breast milk on everything,” she noted, before shaking a bottle of expressed breast milk and applying it to the affected areas on her face.

Healthy benefits of breastmilk, sometimes called “liquid gold,” are virtually endless. Babies who are fed breast milk are known for a lower risk of asthma, obesity, type 1 diabetes, and sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS),” and are also less likely to have ear infections and stomach bugs.

Not only is it the perfect nutrition for growing babies but it’s been used holistically and topically for all kinda of sicknesses from pink eye to diaper rash, eczema to congestion, minor scrapes and burns and more. With all the benefits to infants, it’s a wonder that we don’t use it for adults, too.

Williams noted she has an abundant supply and plans to use it for a week or so to see if it helps and even noted it was already feeling better while applying it.

“I’ll let you guys know how it goes,” she said before the end of her video, with results in the caption. ,

She said “Ok is this totally weird??? I have to say after a week of using MY breast milk under my eye – it worked! I’m dying to hear your thoughts. Be nice lol.”

“I was today years old. Didn’t know,” one comment read. They admitting that they had learned something new regarding the practice.
