Pregnant Texas Girl Found in Boyfriend’s Freezer

  • Obviously dead and this story only gets sadder.

Salena Ann Bradley was pregnant with baby number three when she went missing on October 16th. She disappeared from San Angelo, Texas.

A cryptic Facebook post from Bradley showed up the next day saying, “Listen im fine. Im ok im just want to be left tf alone. when im ready to come back I will. I have to get me and my happiness together. Im good where I’m at.”

But the thing is, Bradley was already dead when this Facebook post was made. Her body was stuffed into the freezer in the kitchen of her boyfriend’s house, and wrapped in a blue tarp.

William James Hernandez (aka Martinez) is 39 and lives in San Angelo as well.

Authorities don’t know how she was killed, they are waiting on autopsy results. According to an affidavit, there were “marks on her neck and the left side of her face consistent with being struck and assaulted.”

As is typical in these cases, Hernandez has been a person of interest since the beginning. The affidavit said that a longtime friend of Hernandez told him that  “he had done something terrible and he would go to prison for life.”

Allegedly, he also told his friend that Bradley’s “body was in a freezer. Six days later, Hernandez called his 4-year-old and allegedly broke down in tears and confessed to the killing.

Two days later, authorities from Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the San Angelo Police Department executed a search warrant on a commercial building on South Chadbourne Street and at Hernandez’s home located on Allen Street.

After finding the body in the freezer, police found Hernandez near a carwash in Abilene. Police tried stopping him but were led on a high-speed car chase after he “purposely collided” with the apprehensions team’s vehicle.

He then crashed his car into a field in Jones County before attempting to flee on foot. “Hernandez successfully eluded officials until he was discovered walking by an officer with the Hamlin Police Department,” police said.

When he was located, he was arrested and charged with murder. He is being held with a $1 million bond in Jones County Jail, waiting for extradition to Tom Green County.

RIP Salena Ann Bradley.
