- She doesn’t wear a mask, and when people ask her to, it makes her mad enough to throw things at them.
Apparently, this ‘new’ Karen isn’t the only one. There has been an increasing number of instances of middle-aged women who’ve acted out in regards to complying to the safety guidelines and store policies.
People across America are acting out as such, just asking some to wear a mask to help stop the spread of the virus has been sending them into a rage. This newest Karen throws things, specifically shoe boxes and shoes, after being asked to don a mask.
This Karen was shopping is Sketchers in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, when one of the store employees walked up and politely asked her to wear her mask. The woman became outraged, picks up the shoe box, and hurls it at the employee before exiting the store.
After the throwing, she left so suddenly, she forgot her wallet. This was helpful and allowed for the police to identify the woman, after the fact.
Employee, Myah Joycelynn, took a video of the event with the following description, So this happened at work today…? stupid Karens. All we wanted was for her to wear a mask pls share this lol I hope this lady is embarrassed of herself and her actions.
User, Melissa Hope Lakin, commented: Have y’all been able to report her?? That’s assault and disorderly conduct for sure.
Joycelynn responded saying: Oh yeah we sent it to news stations and have reported and my co-worker pressed charges. Also the dumbass left her wallet at the store so we turned that into the police as well lol.
Of course people had their opinions about this situation and this Karen. Another user wrote:
I get people’s feeling about not wanting to wear a mask, But I feel there’s a 90% chance these are the same people that are okay with bakeries not making same-sex wedding cakes cuz businesses have a right to make their own policies. You’re free to shop at another store.

I’m on the side of the fence that face masks cause more harm than good (long term use anyways) so I avoid wearing it whenever prudent. But whenever I go into a store that has that as their policy I ALWAYS put it on before entering. Why? Because it is what that store requires.
And that’s that folks. Hopefully this isn’t a ‘new normal’ but better yet a temporary time and the Karen’s just chill a little.
