15. Jordan Lindsey 2019 Killed in Multiple-Shark Attack
What started as a wonderful family vacation ended in tragedy when Jordan Lindsey, a 21-year-old college student, died in an attack by multiple tiger sharks. While visiting the Bahamas, the family took a trip to Rose Island, famous for its beautiful beach and opportunity to swim with pigs. While swimming with her mother, Jordan was attacked by what she initially thought were dolphins.
The first shark took bit off Jordan’s arm, bit both her legs, other arm and torso. Her mom tried to get to her but a second shark swiftly attacked. The last thing Jordan said to her mother was “There’s another shark coming!” Jordan died before getting to the hospital.
