11. Omar Conger Killed by Great White
In another brutal attack off the coast of California, Omar Conger was killed when a 16-foot great white shark came up under him while treading water during a diving outing. The huge shark allegedly grabbed him and pulled him under. The shark resurfaced a few seconds later with Conger still in his huge jaws, letting him go shortly thereafter.
Conger died almost instantly from blood loss, suffering wounds to his legs, backside, and hands.
