Centralia, PA is the ghost town on fire. Since 1962 a coal fire burns in a labyrinth of tunnels beneath the town, devastating the population until it dwindled to just 5 people in 2017. Also worth checking out is an abandoned section of Route 66 near the town, now covered in graffiti.
