  • Wave at someone who wasn’t waving at you.
  • Immediately pretend the wave was actually a hair adjustment.
  • Say “you too” when someone says “happy birthday.”
  • Say “you too” when a waiter says “enjoy your meal.”
  • Apologize when someone else bumps into you. Is this one of your weird social things?

  • Avoid someone because you don’t have the energy for a conversation.
  • See someone you know in a grocery store and suddenly become fascinated by the pasta aisle.
  • Pretend to look at your phone while passing someone.
  • Look away after accidentally making eye contact.
  • Make eye contact twice and now feel like you’ve established a relationship.
  • Smile at a stranger because they smiled at you.
  • Smile at someone who wasn’t smiling at you.
  • Laugh because everyone else is laughing even though you didn’t hear the joke.
  • Pretend you heard what someone said.
  • Nod enthusiastically while having absolutely no idea what’s happening.
  • Say “mhm” while thinking about something completely unrelated.
  • Forget someone’s name immediately after they tell you.
  • Avoid using their name for the next 20 minutes.
  • Call them “buddy.”
  • Introduce someone you’ve known forever and suddenly forget their name.
  • Say “nice to meet you” to someone you’ve already met.

  • Hug someone and accidentally pat them awkwardly.
  • Go in for a handshake when they go for a hug.

  • Wave awkwardly while already standing next to someone.
  • Say someone’s name incorrectly and realize immediately.

  • Smile because you don’t know what else your face should do.
