- Which is the overwhelming favorite season statistically.
What are your opinions about the fall? Believe it or not, most people pick fall as their favorite season.
- You forgot to mention the smell of fall. If you’ve smelled it
you know what I’m talking about. It’s addicting. I count down the days until fall every year - Nothing better. Every year there will be a day when something clicks and it has that fall smell in the air. Love it.
- I prefer autumn. Do you agree with these opinions about the fall?
- Here in Norway autumn is horrible, all leaves fall in a few weeks, it rains constantly non stop for weeks, it’s genuinely cold, and everything looks bleak and depressing. Only the first few weeks of autumn are actually kinda nice, everything after September is just pure never ending depression
- Yeah…here in Poland it’s a bit similar. If only september could last til january.
- Similar in Germany, though probably not as extreme. Anyway, skies are almost always grey and the leaveless trees look very depressing.
- Then have some respect and call it Autumn. A response said, “No, we’re changing all the names. The freeze, the melt, the hot, and then of course the fall.”

- Days are getting longer, weather is getting more comfortable, everything is coming alive. Each day feels better than the last in spring. In fall it’s the opposite. Seasons are nice, but the fast shortening of days depresses me the most. I like winter, but usually after the solstice when I know at least each day is getting longer than the last. December is the worst month. What do you think of these opinions about the fall?
- Spring in my town blows- literally. It’s still cold and the wind is just insane. It’s not a gentle awakening from winter so much as slush everywhere from melting snow and a lot of wind.
- Where I live autumn is just grey, stormy and a lot of rain. And the winter is just autumn 2.0 with maybe some snow if you’re lucky. Hence spring/summer is my favoriete season.
- This opinion relies heavily on you having allergies/hay fever, most people don’t…if I couldn’t deal with a third of the other options I may agree with you too but spring is much better than fall
- Alternatively: spring is just fall… but backwards. Both are good (provided you won’t die from being within a 100 mile radius of a flower ffs)
- Google “most popular seasons.” First answer is Fall, chosen by a whopping 41% of respondents.
-
- Winter
- Fall
- Spring
- Summer
- My list is literally just in reverse order to yours bc I’m a lizard person lol.
- False. Spring is superior.
- Depends on where you are. Up north I’d agree that spring in great. But in South Texas spring is damp, cloudy, windy and simultaneously warm and chilly at the same time.
- If it was partly cloudy and 65 degrees every day I’d agree.

- Where I’m from an average day in April can go from 40 degrees with frost to 75 and rain in hours.
- I am in the the US in the north and spring is awful. It’s usually like 80 degrees(I get hot easily and hate the heat) and it’s so damn hot. Plus pollen is in the air and allergies suck. And I don’t like bugs
- Clearly someone who doesn’t suffer from allergies. If I got a dollar for every tree I flipped off in spring I would be rich! Not even joking, and I like trees but FUCK them in the spring.
