These are wild situations people endured. Could you imagine?

  1. Hikers vanish inside Hoia Baciu Forest near Cluj-Napoca, Romania. A survivor, Anca Ionescu, swears the trees changed position while she slept.
  2. Marcus Leung, a software engineer in Singapore General Hospital hasn’t slept in weeks. Every time he does, a stranger’s obituary appears online.
  3. Neurologist Dr. Ibrahim Nasser at Cairo University Hospital studies patients losing their senses. It’s the one that whispers his private thoughts back to him, that really gets to him.
  4. Linguist Dr. Farah Haddad at American University of Beirut wakes up and is unable to speak her native Arabic. Even stranger, she understands every word of it.
  5. In a studio apartment above Shinjuku Station in Tokyo, Aiko Tanaka buys an antique mirror. This mirror shows her standing slightly closer to the glass each night.
