- Thanksgiving is delicious but apparently everyone doesn't feel that way.
Did you read People’s Unfiltered Opinions About Thanksgiving: Part One? Because this is part two.
TBH as a non-american, Thanksgiving sounds absolutely horrible, I’m glad I don’t have it here.
I have an eating disorder that makes me dislike food therefore thanksgiving foods are gross universally!
I don’t really like Thanksgiving either but I like the double pay my job paid me. Traditional Thanksgiving food is kinda gross
to me though and I feel bad for the billions of turkeys getting killed when so many people are only eating them for the stupid tradition anyway which just seems stupid. The gratitude aspect is nice though where you think about what you are grateful for but also we should be doing that every day anyway.
Top 3 holidays for me.I absolutely love the food and having a good day with family is awesome. Did I mention the food is amazing? Do you agree with these unfiltered opinions about Thanksgiving?
I love my family and I love to eat, and the food tastes good because my family cooked it, not because it’s actually good.
Believe it or not, most people enjoy getting the day off to eat and spend time with loved ones.
I would enjoy thanksgiving more if I didn’t have to eat my grandmas shitty Albanian food every year. I’d like to eat American thanksgiving food.
I also don’t like thanksgiving. I’d rather go ski opening day, cook Chinese food and do bong rips while watching parks and recreation with my cat.
My dad cooked thanksgiving dinner, and his turkey is so incredibly tasty. People always say turkey is bad, but that’s only because they’ve never had a good turkey.
I’d have to agree kinda. Turkey tastes way too dry, and last time I ate that much stuff in one sitting, I got a really bad stomach virus thing and I felt like I was paralyzed for 2 days. I feel like it’s more of an excuse to drink wine and watch football. What do you think of these unfiltered opinions about Thanksgiving?
Because some of us genuinely enjoy seeing our family and spending time together. I enjoy cooking and it makes me feel happy to share that with my loved ones. And for what it’s worth, turkey isn’t dry if you cook it right
You don’t have to enjoy it or even participate since you’re an adult. Other people do though. It’s like Christmas, Halloween, or whatever. Not everyone gets it or likes it and that’s ok. The history is fucked, yes but we can’t do much about it now. Everyone knows by now that what we’re celebrating never really went down. Doesn’t mean we have to cancel everything though… sometimes we need a damn break from work and an excuse to cook/eat a big meal with our people. You’ll be ok, just stay home next year.
Thanksgiving stresses people who are novice or poor cooks. Turkey, everyone, is served with GRAVY from the turkey juices, homemade not from a jar. Turkey and turkey gravy! The real problem is that people can’t cook the turkey right and skip or fudge on the gravy. Jar gravy would ruin the turkey and make you feel like you are at a cheap greasy diner. Grow older and treat the meal as something good and once a year special. Turkey is so much better for you than a
lasagna or pizza. Fussing about it is a sign our social media is out of control. Don’t do anything old people do, good decision, right? Are these your unfiltered opinions about Thanksgiving, too?
Dude just enjoy the free meal.
