Now we all have our own styles, and it’s not our place to judge. (Not that that stops us!) That said, who would wear this?
Snowblind
Walmart removed a whole line of shirts for this holiday after costumers took offense. It was a blue sweater with snowflakes all over it. On the front has Santa sitting on a chair in front of a coffee table. He is holding a straw, he has a big smile and his eyes are cartoon-like. The table is a light blue, and has three lines in the center of it with a pile of, what’s probably supposed to be Snowballs, but looks like a pile of 8-ball cocaine. Under the table says ‘LET IT SNOW.’
What a FUN Sweater
FUN Wear said in their description: “We all know how snow works. It’s white, powder and best snow comes straight from South America. That’s bad news for jolly old St. Nick, who lives far away in the North Pole. That’s why Santa really likes to savor the moment when he gets his hands on some quality, grade A, Colombian snow.” Walmart issued a statement saying: “These sweaters, sold by a third-party seller on Walmart.ca, do not represent Walmart’s values and have no place on our website. We apologize for any unintended offense this may have caused.” The sweater and several others sold by FUN Wear have been removed, according to an email sent to Washingtonpost.com

That wasn’t it! Two more inappropriate Christmas shirts. “Chestnuts Roasting” and “Naughty Santa.”
The first shirt had a pants-less Santa standing in front of a chimney that had a fire on it. The base color is red and the shirt reads: ‘CHESTNUTS ROASTING ON A OPEN FIRE.’ The other is a green sweater with red trim around the hem of the shirt, sleeves, and neck. On the front is Mrs. Claus in a Santa inspired one-piece bathing suit with red gloves and boots, holding a whip. Santa is on his hands and knees in front of her with his pants pulled down and a big grin on his face. The caption above his head and in front of Mrs. Clause’s says ‘SANTA HAS BEEN NAUGHTY.’ Since it’s taken down, you can see the LET IT SNOW sweater on Twitter.
Guess What? This Isn’t A First!
There was another incident, however, with inappropriate clothing last year. President Trump supporters called for a boycott over a T-shirt being sold on Walmart’s American market place. As a reference to Trump being the 45th president, it read ‘Impeach 45.’ “We’re removing these types of items pending review of our marketplace policies,” Walmart said at that time.
In 2017, Walmart apologized for a third-party seller’s ad, which contained a racist slur. The listing was from a British company that sold hair products. They had a wig cap in the color ‘n— brown.’ That same year, Walmart apologized for a misplaced back-to-school sign that was placed over a firearms display in one of the stores. The sign was superhero-themed and read ‘Own the school year like a hero.’
