Men are sometimes hiring professional girlfriends because they miss doing this they used to do with a previous partner, like watch nerdy movies together. It may sound surprising to imagine that a man might hire a woman just to sit and watch star wars with him, but this does happen. It could be anything, really. It could be watching movies, but it could also be playing a game, or even just working out, riding bikes, or anything. Some men just crave having female companionship and just doing something that they enjoy together.
