And some rules about sending Christmas cards or more the traditional etiquette when it comes to them:
- Your cards should arrive about two weeks prior to Christmas
- It’s ok to send a Christmas card to people who celebrate differently. The thought behind it means more than the holiday specified on the card.
- Photo cards should be sent to close friends and family. It’s more appropriate to send a card to someone you’d consider an acquaintance.
- Keep professional greetings professional
- Include a personal note or sign your name if you send a digital card
- According to etiquette, you should sign your families name ie The Millers unless you’re a single, in which your name/nickname/signature are all good.
- Make sure your address information and postage is sufficient for sending the card and make sure to include a return address.
- Use commas, spell correctly and try to be grammatically correct!
