Even the name is a foreboding, this roadside stop between Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s a ghost town founded in 1862 and abandoned after the silver mines went bust. A quick drive up into the hills are the Purcell Murals, also a photo-op worthy stop.
