Fool's Gold Loaf

(Reader Contribution to 12 Highest Calorie Ever Foods)

The Fool's Gold Loaf is a sandwich created by the Colorado Mine Company, a restaurant in Denver, Colorado. It consists of a warmed, hollowed-out loaf of bread filled with a whole jar of creamy peanut butter, a whole jar of grape jelly, and a POUND of bacon: coming in at well over 6000 calories per sandwich.
Elvis Presley was known as the heart-hating delicacy's most famous fan - he and four friends once took his private jet to Denver especially to taste the sandwich, and consumed 22 between them in one sitting.
