Very Cymbal-ic

I have taught HS band for nearly two decades. About 15 years ago, when doing inventory, I noticed that some of the cymbals from my drum set had disappeared. I searched and searched, but they were gone. Two years later, an anonymous person left a box at the office...with the cymbals. Turns out that a young man had served a Mormon Mission (I live in Utah), and when he got back, saw the cymbals and felt guilty.
But, the story doesn't stop there. Three years later, those same cymbals were again stolen (along with some other percussion equipment). Once again, after two years, they re-appeared with an apology note from a returned missionary.
Yes, I need to do a better job of locking up my cymbals, but at least our teen-age thieves out here in Utah eventually have a change of heart!
