Uncombable Hair Syndrome

(Reader Contribution to 10 Weirdest Diseases)

Yes, there is such thing, and as for i dont know who that boy was, he seemingly had it. There is also no real explanation to what is causing it.
In a case of a woman from Indiana, who had this syndrome, but was unwilling to cut her hair, because she had grew it for over 14 years. Instead, she dipped it in olive oil, and straightened them with crochet hook. Her hair was back to normal in 2 and a half months.
