The Emerald Lakes

The Emerald Lakes in New Zealand along the way of the Tongariro Crossing. They are on Mt. Tongariro and they are breathtaking and stunning! I've seen them twice. They are sacred to the Maori people and you aren't aloud to eat or swim in them or even throw rocks in them.
