He had been engaged to one of the other rep, it's pretty intense living together in a tent on site.
However he was the kind of opportunist who realised he could be living in a nicer location and in a chalet with the area manager. Somehow the original fiance only found out he'd dumped her when he changed his relationship status from 'engaged to Linda ____' to 'in a relationship with Alex ____'
