The Ima Hogg Competition
(Reader Contribution to 10 Most Bizarre Awards)
For aspiring young classical musicians,The Ima Hogg Competition is one of the most desired wins available, partly because it's become so prestigious and partly because it comes with a fat cash award. The pretty young thing with the flute was the winner a couple years ago, I believe.
