first bio-degradable? foolish.

that bio-degradable umbrella design is obviously drawn from japanese umbrellas before plastic or metals were used to product such devices. those umbrellas were all bio-degradable as well: bamboo, wood, paper, wax. and this being hundreds of years before the word "bio-degradable" was being used.

don't exaggerate, be accurate.
