Languange protest in Malaysia

Numerous NGOs, society and academicians have demanded that the language of teaching mathematics and science in Malaysian schools to be Bahasa Melayu, the national language of Malaysia.
Since their plight has fallen into deaf ears, a mass rally was organized in the capital city to hand in a memorandum to the king, requesting His Majesty's interference.
Most of the participants of the protest are so called "language lovers" and students from local universities.
