Largest Human Rainbow
(Reader Contribution to 15 Extraordinary Mass Human Formations)
Over 31,000 students, faculty, staff and alumni of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) gathered yesterday at the Luneta Grandstand in Manila wearing colorful shirts, caps and flaglets and danced to modern pop tunes in a bid to make it to the Guinness Book of World Records as the ?World's Largest Human Rainbow.?
Aside from breaking the world record, Salvador said their "human rainbow" also aims to unite all PUPians now celebrating its centennial year (1904 to 2004). It also intends to raise funds to finance the projects of the PUP Centennial Foundation geared towards the improvement of its facilities.
