(Reader Contribution to 10 Strangest Japanese Toys)The Bandai micro toys I believe are actually very similar to a popular toy in the 60's, when you squeeze the bottle with the lid on tiht the diver floats to the top, when you let it go it sinks, it has a small pocket of air inside the toys which is affected by the pressure.
