Szoborpark in Budapest, Hungary

10 Weirdest Theme Parks)

The description of Grutaspark reminded me of the impressing but kind of eerie statues in Szoborpark near Budapest, that I once visited during a short trip to Budapest. The enormous communistic statues that once occupied the squares of Budapest have been transported to a small piece of land outside the city, after the revolution in 1989. The sight of all these more than life-sized statues of farmers, workers, soldiers and dictators, without big buildings to surround them, give you the creeps. There is also a shop for posters and other paraphernalia from the Communistic regime.
