Mujahideen, thongs and the winning of Afghan War
(Reader Contribution to 10 Funniest Typos ever)
From Polish daily "Dziennik". The arrow points at the sentence which means: "The Mujahideen defeated Soviets with thongs sent to them by the USA". Interesting... I always thought the Americans sent them Stinger missiles, but it seems I was wrong ;)
Of course it is a typo - Polish word for thongs are "stringi". I bet MS Word auto-corrected word "Stinger" to "stringi".
