bethany hamilton was attacked by a shark that severed her arm at the age of 13 or 14, she couldnt wait to get back in the water but her father and brother being nervous for her decided to paint the pattern of a poisonous sea snake to deter another attack, bethany is now one of the worlds most incredible female surfers and the story behind the movie "sould surfer" and an inspiration to anyone who has to face any hard times
