Sick for the Holidays

Just before my sister turned a year old, I was sick for Thanksgiving (1988). The next year, I was sick for Christmas (and her birthday 2 days later). 1990, she was sick for Christmas. The pattern continued as follows:
1991- Thanksgiving, I was ill
1992- Thanksgiving, she was ill
1993- Christmas, she was ill (UTI)
1994- Christmas, I was ill (Strep Throat)
1995- Thanksgiving, she was ill (Virus)
1996- Thanksgiving, I was ill (Stomach bug)
1997- Christmas, she was ill (Pink eye)
1998- Christmas, I was ill (Strep Throat)
1999- Thanksgiving, I had a leg injury from a bike accident
2000- Thanksgiving, she was ill (Croup)
2001- Christmas, I had a bad sprain (ankle)
2002- Christmas, she was ill (U.T.I.)
2003- Thanksgiving, she broke her toe the day before
2004- Thanksgiving, I was ill (Mono)
2005- Christmas, she was ill (Virus)
2006- Christmas, I had just got back from hospital.
2007- Thanksgiving, she was ill (Common Cold)
2008- Thanksgiving, I was ill (Sinus)
2009- Christmas, I was ill (Virus)
2010- Christmas, she was recovering from an accident.
I intend to be prepared come Thanksgiving.
