LA Emergency
(Reader Contribution to 10 Unbelievable Twitter Stories)I was posting to #TTOT about a time I was stuck in LA late at night outside a shopping mall that had closed, waiting for a taxi that didn't come. It was pre-cellphone days and a pretty scary experience. To fit it into 140 characters I had to say ‘Stuck outside a closed mall in LA no phone, no taxi'. A friend saw it and thought it was happening in real time and was in a panic t figure out how he could help me until he suddenly realized I couldn't be tweeting with no phone!
