Out of This World Wedding

Years ago we went to a friend's wedding, all dressed up. We arrived to find that it was a Star Trek Wedding - with a minister dressed up like Mr. Spock! The wedding party was in Star Trek costumes and so were the bride and groom. The room was decorated so that it looked like the wedding was happening on the bridge of the Enterprise with that big screen showing a view of the universe similar to what the crew could see from the bridge. The wedding cake spread over two long tables and was a group of individual cakes decorated to look like the solar system. It would have been great if the marriage had lasted as long as the tv show did!
