(Reader Contribution to 8 Worst Business Screw-ups)Dan & Dave was an advertising and merchandising campaign by Reebok during the build-up to the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. The promotion was meant to generate excitement and support for the Olympic competition between American decathletes Dan O'Brien and Dave Johnson. However, O'Brien failed to qualify for the Olympics.
