World's Heaviest Hamburger
Weighting 590 pounds (267 kilograms), the hamburger created by canadian chef Ted Reader in Yonge-Dundas Square, Toronto, Canada, used about 300 pounds of beef meat. They had to make a specially designed grill for this purpose only to bake the meat, which was then nestled in a 48-kilogram bun, dressed with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, red onions, pickles and barbecue sauce. The whole cooking process lasted about six hours. The previous record holder was an 84-kilograms hamburger.
